The Scouts jumble sale is back! Our next sale is on Saturday 14th October from 12.30 – 2.30pm at the Penn & Tylers Green Village Hall.
Jumble may be dropped off at the village hall on Friday evening (13th October) between 6 – 8pm and Saturday from 9 – 11am
We love donations but we love best what we can sell easily:
Yes please:
- Children’s toys, bicycles / scooters in (near) working order
- Clean adults & children’s clothes, school uniform & wearable shoes
- Textiles: curtains / quilts / towels
- Fiction and nonfiction books, children’s books
- Small items of furniture in good repair
- Flat screen TVs / pc monitors.
- Household electrical items in working order
- Priceless works of art and good quality pictures and mirrors
- Unusual bric-a-brac, jewellery
- Good quality sports goods / fitness equipment
- New items of DIY that you thought you would use but never did
No thanks:
- Soft toys, jigsaws (unless new), cycle helmets, children’s car seats
- Anything that is worn that would be more appropriate for a rag bag
- Pillows or duvets – (unless new)
- Magazine collections / encyclopaedias / annuals / cooking / gardening books / anything heavy!
- Larger furniture that would not fit in a car
- Vinyl, cassette tapes, videos, CDs, DVDs. Large TVs, printers, cameras. Stationery / ring binders / photo albums
- Faded paintings, anything with damaged frames / chipped mirrors
- Dining sets, glasses, sharp knives
- Golf clubs / balls, old tennis / badminton / squash rackets
