Event Overview


The Jumble sale is the group’s principle fund raiser – it enabled us to contribute funds to the recent County Camp, provides scouting equipment and maintains the scout premises.

Please note the doors will now open at 12:30 rather than 13:00 as previously. The first hour’s selling is key; the more stall holders selling the more money we take. We had fantastic help in April and our revenue surpassed £2,000 for the first time! Thanks to all involved.

As anyone who has been to a Bucks CC tip recently will know, regulations on what can be dumped have been introduced – essentially no DIY remnants or rubble. Even more frustrating is that we are no longer able to dispose of unsold jumble on Saturday, requiring a trip on Monday morning and increased van-hire costs.
